Over the last few months, we at Popcorn RFP have been hard at work on an enhanced vendor question builder. With this updated tool, you can now create, manage, and organize your questions for vendors in a single, simple interface, making RFx creation faster and easier than ever.
Once you’ve finished entering basic information about your organization and its purchase needs in our RFI or RFP kernels, the new vendor question builder will appear. It contains a standard set of questions for all respondents, including basic company information, details of any subcontractors, and information about ongoing legal or financial issues.
Next, the question builder prompts you to add questions specific to your purchase area and your organization’s needs. Check out how it looks in practice:
Question areas include any company background information you’re requesting, details of vendors’ proposed solutions, information on reference customers, implementation plans, and pricing details, among others. You can list unlimited questions in any category so that vendor responses are tailored exactly to your needs.
When you enter a new question in the builder, it enables you to select a question format as shown below. This might be short answer, yes/no, $ amount, url, or some other type depending on the answer you’re looking for.
It is our hope that this new functionality further streamlines the RFx process for your organization! We welcome your feedback as we continue to look for ways to make RFI and RFP creation as seamless and successful as possible.
